The Day of Caring conducted a needs assessment in the spring and summer of 2014. This assessment targeted survivors, co-survivors, community members and medical professionals in discussing what hardships occur during and after diagnosis. The results from this assessment drove our board of directors to create Survivor Assistance, a post-treatment financial assistance program.
Survivors in the seven-county Denver Metro Area are eligible to apply for financial assistance for basic needs. Applications will be reviewed monthly.
This application requires both the applicant and a medical professional to complete the application. Partial or incomplete applications will be returned.
